Here at Wolfman’s Canines, our lead CANINE BEHAVIORIST will recommend the TRAINING PROGRAM that is best for you and your dog, based upon an in-person EVALUATION!

BOARD & TRAIN
(BASIC/INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED)

This is by far our most popular program! For younger dogs, it is our chance to capture that malleable mind and teach them everything they need to know. This program is also for dogs in need of a solid training foundation or change in atmosphere to correct unwanted behaviors. All training sessions are done daily by our lead canine behaviorist. The boarding portion of this training program will take place at the Wolfman’s farm in Galena Ohio!
Owner education, resources and at-home exercises are all provided via weekly report cards. Text, photo & video updates are also made readily available. This trainer led, social forward board and train will give any puppy or dog the basic skills they need to be the best companion dog for you!

INTENSIVE BOARD & TRAIN
(REACTIVE/AGGRESSIVE/BITE HISTORY)

This is an intensive program for dogs with a bite history and/or reactivity towards other dogs or humans. This gives your dog the chance to unlearn old behaviors that have been maladaptive for both you and them. We create a super-structured, social forward, safe and fun environment for your dog to learn new behaviors and a more solid sense of self. All training sessions are done daily by our lead canine behaviorist. The boarding portion of this training program will take place at the Wolfman’s farm in Galena Ohio!
Owner education, resources and at-home exercises are all provided via weekly report cards. Text, photo & video updates are also made readily available. With this intensive training program, it is expected that clients will continue building their dog’s new behavioral pathways after they return home. Detailed resources on methods & techniques will be provided to encourage ongoing client education. Multiple refresher courses are also included at the completion of the BOARD & TRAIN (depending on length of program).

BOARDING
(AVAILABLE ONLY TO TRAINING GRADUATES)

We are a small family run business so we prioritize boarding spaces for training graduates. This also means all of the dogs staying here get 1-on-1 attention and handling from our lead trainer daily even if only boarding. Each dog will have a 4' by 8' dog run(kennel). All boarding will take place at the Wolfman’s dog farm in Galena.

ON-SITE EVALUATION

During this in person, 30-minute evaluation, our lead canine behaviorist will get to know you and the training needs of your dog. This will often include learning about your dog’s exercise outlet, social skills, previous training experience & overall behavior. Training packages will be recommended at the completion of an evaluation. You can expect an onboarding email with NEXT STEPS on how to become a BUCKEYE WOLFPACK member at the end of the evaluation! All training evaluations will take place at the Wolfman’s farm in Galena Ohio!

1-1 SESSIONS

Our lead canine behaviorist will work 1-on-1 with your dog and you to continue addressing the unwanted behaviors that brought you to training. Each training session will integrate structured socialization, when appropriate. The amount of socialization depends on the comfort & experience level of each dog. All training sessions will take place at the Wolfman’s farm in Galena Ohio (unless otherwise specified by your trainer)
All 1-ON-1 training range from basic obedience to more advanced skills. Owner education, resources and at-home exercises are all provided between each session.
**All board and train packages come with free "refresher" 1-1 SESSIONS. The number of sessions depends on the needs of the dog & client**

PUPPY PROGRAMS

With the guidance of our lead canine behaviorist, Walter Mott, our puppy programs offer an extensive curriculum and will provide you and your pup the best foundation to build on. This will include but not limited to:
House Training (Potty Training, Chew Toy Training, Crate Training) - so your puppy learns how to behave at home when left unsupervised and settle down quietly when you want them to.
Confidence Training (Socialization, Desensitization, Handling, Resolving Phobias) - so your puppy learns to enjoy being held and handled and does not become fearful, reactive, or aggressive towards any people, animals, or other stimuli.
Lure Reward Training (Sit, Down, Stand, Come, Follow, Go To Your Bed, Settle Down, Off, Take It, Thank You, Fetch, Tug) - so your pup learns to perform useful behaviors on cue, reliably, and promptly so you can have fun together and redirect your pup away from unwanted behaviors.
All of our training is reward-based and designed to build and strengthen a relationship between you and your puppy that is based on trust and communication. Only force free techniques will be used
